General Manager, Joyi Logistics Group

Jerry Zhou has more than 16 years of experience with the management of global teams in multinational companies. He has been working in Hi-Tech, supply chain and logistics industry for over 20 years.
Jerry is now working in Joyi Logistics Group, as the GM of International Operational Business Unit, responsible for:

• Intensifying the co-operation with global partners and clients
• Expanding the business into new areas (E-commerce, cross-board supply chain management…)
• Leading the cross-function teams for IT platform development and integration, to help clients further improve the operation and logistics efficiency
• Leading the team for Joyi’s globalization, extending the operation into other regions

Prior to Joyi, Jerry worked in Intel Mobile Communication (Shanghai) Co. Ltd for 12 years as the Director and General Manager. His responsibility included:

• Operation management of Intel Mobile Communication (Shanghai) Co. Ltd.
• Leading the global engineering teams to develop the Hardware+Software solution of wireless product (cell phone, tablet, Internet of Things) for the global market
• Leading the global management teams to coordinate the multi-site engineering project and customer project

Prior to his current position, Jerry worked in Alcatel Shanghai Bell for more than 4 years. This was the starting point of his career. He was the System designer for the China GSM network, and meanwhile also the project manager of setting up the first Mobile Switch Center in several provinces in China, such as Shanghai, Jiang Su, Zhe Jiang and Shan Xi.

Jerry got a bachelor’s degree from East China Normal University in 1994, majoring in Electro Technology. In 2001, he graduated from University Karlsruhe in Germany, with the master’s degree in Electrical Engineering. In 2015, he finished his Global EMBA program in University of Southern California, graduating with master degree in business administration.

Jerry was born and raised in Shanghai. He likes badminton, tennis, swimming, hiking, reading music and movies. He is now living in Shanghai with his wife Melitta and an 8-year old daughter Hanna.
