Senior Commercial Officer, U.S. Embassy

Scott Shaw is the Senior Commercial Officer for the U.S. Department of Commerce in Hong Kong. As Senior Commercial Officer, Mr. Shaw’s primary role is to assist U.S. companies to establish and increase their sales of American products and services to Hong Kong and Macau. Prior to Hong Kong, Scott served in Brazil, Thailand, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. Mr. Shaw began his career with the Commerce Department in positions in Washington D.C., Chicago and Manila, Philippines. His service has been recognized by the Commerce Department’s Gold Medal Award, the highest award granted by the Secretary of Commerce for excellence in federal service. Scott is a graduate of Cornell University and a past participant of the Cornell Public Policy program in Washington, D.C.
