Don St. Pierre, Jr.

As Co-founder and member of the board of ASC Fine Wines, Don is still involved in guiding the strategy of the business he started with his father, in 1996. Additionally he is the senior advisor to the wine division of Suntory, who purchased ASC Fine Wines from the St. Pierre family in 2014.ASC Fine Wines is "China’s greatest fine wine importer" according to wine industry legend Robert M. Parker, Jr.

With offices in more than 18 cities throughout Greater China, more than 1,000 staff and sales in 2014 of RMB 1 billion, ASC is not only China’s leading wine importer, but one of the most successful foreign entrepreneurial ventures in China. Starting from scratch in 1996, with no wine industry background, the St. Pierre's built a best in class nationwide import/distribution business, with several unique qualities including a strong focus on education/training, and fully integrated sales/service and warehouse/delivery teams. Overtime the ASC Fine Wines name became a "brand" and a symbol of reliability, quality and trust.

Don is the recipient of numerous wine industry accolades, including: being awarded the International Man of the Year 2011 by Wine Enthusiast Magazine, being named No. 7 on Decanter magazine's 2011 Top 50 global wine industry power players; being profiled by the Financial Times newspaper, The New Yorker Magazine and Meininger's Wine Business International.

Originally from Ontario, Canada, Don, has previously lived in Indonesia, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and the United States.

Don graduated magna cum laude from The George Washington University with a degree in International Business and after 16 years of living full time in Shanghai, he has recently moved to California with his wife Monica Xu and his three daughters Caitlyn, Ciana, Callie.
