Bryan A. Norton is CEO of T-Mark Kabushiki Gaisha and its subsidiary T-Mark International Inc. Mr. Norton founded T-Mark in 1994 focusing on providing Internet application development and marketing related services to large and small companies in Japan. In 2008, T-Mark International was established to service customers in the European Union and the Americas, while the Japanese company provides service to clients in Asia including India, China, South Korea, Malaysia, and Australia. The T-Mark companies now provide services to corporate clients in 28 countries around the world.
Presently, Mr. Norton is a member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan, where he serves as Co-Chair of the Asia Business Committee and Chair of the Labor Force Diversification Task Force. In addition, Mr. Norton has contributed to a number of other task forces, including the Growth Strategies Task Force, the APEC Task Force and the TPP Task Force. Mr. Norton was a recipient of the ACCJ Leader of the Year Award for 2010.
Mr. Norton first came to Japan in 1983 as a one-year exchange student at International Christian University. After graduating with a degree in history from St. Lawrence University in 1985, he returned to Japan as a Monbusho English Fellow assigned to Okayama prefecture where he worked from 1985 to 1987. His primary professional interest has been creating or supporting new businesses that benefit Japan and the United States.
Originally from Buffalo, New York, Mr. Norton has lived and worked in Japan for over twenty years. He is married to a Japanese woman and has three wonderful daughters.
