Douglas Montgomery is presently working at Warnerbros in the role of Vice President, Global Retail Insights. He is responsible for managing the Global Retail partners in their Category Management relationship with Warnerbros. In this role, Doug has lived in Arkansas, Tokyo, London and now Los Angeles, expanding his role in the company.
Previously, Montgomery worked for Walmart International (located in Bentonville) in the Global Sourcing department. This role took him in an advisory position to help Walmart stores improve their business in the various territories it operated in. He has also been Country Manager (Rubbermaid and Canbra Foods) for Japan, both positions located in Tokyo.
Montgomery earned his Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Business, University of Alberta. He received his M.B.A. from the USC Marshall School of Business IBEAR Program in 2003. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Japan America Society of Southern California.
