With more than 30 years of computer industry experience, Ray possesses a unique understanding of the Internet, global issues, technology, marketing and entrepreneurship. His expansive career crosses continents and disciplines with past assignments that include senior positions for technology giants such as Apple, Borland International, Compaq Computer Corporation and Hewlett-Packard. He is currently leading SoZo Group, a sustainable Investment Advisory Company.
If you ask him to name a favorite career experience he struggles to narrow it down. Certainly one of the most unique was a year-long sabbatical in 1993, when he spent a good part of a year as the mission manager for the first American trade mission to Vietnam, coordinating the entire expedition for more than 50 influential U.S. business leaders and most recently working on the drafting and passage of the “Made in Alabama” Trade Credit Bill and the launch of Alabama China Partnership Symposium.
A colorful career path, numerous battle scars and achievements make Ray a soughtafter speaker. He has delivered keynote and lead speeches on technology and global trends at “Connecting the World” at UK House of Lords, IVCA Awards, Microsoft Network CEO Summit, Architects' Technology Summit, CA World, FAWCO and many others. Most recently, Ray conducted the Live Dialogue with US Congress at Asian Manufacturing Forum 2012 in Beijing China.
