Bill Bryson represents lenders, borrowers, arrangers, and investors in the negotiation, documentation, and closing of a wide variety of financial transactions, including syndicated loans, asset finance (vessels, aircraft, real estate), securitization and other structured transactions, acquisition finance, and distressed debt acquisitions, resolution, and servicing. He also has represented banks, insurance companies, and private equity funds in M&A; transactions. Bill leads the Firm's Greater China Banking & Finance Practice.

Bill has broad experience in financial transactions. He is a leading lawyer in Taiwan in both distressed debt and securitization transactions, acting as lead counsel on more than 120 such deals in Taiwan, China, the Philippines, and Thailand in a three-year period. Bill also has led many deals that are "firsts" in the Taiwan market, most recently representing a foreign investor in its acquisition of a controlling stake in a listed financial holding company in Taiwan. He also is active in insolvency and restructuring matters, recently assisting in the restructuring of real estate-related loans in China and assisting the Lehman bankruptcy estate in the resolution of Lehman-related assets in Taiwan.

Bill is recognized as a leading lawyer in Taiwan by the Chambers Asia and Global guides, PLC Which lawyer?, Asia Pacific Legal 500, and Asialaw Leading Lawyers. He also received two Distinguished Service Awards from the American Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan for his leadership in the Chamber's lobbying efforts.
