Kim H. Johnson is Vice Chair and founding Governor of the American Chamber of Commerce in Macau, one of the largest and most influential international chambers in the city and the forefront of development in Macau.


Ms. Johnson is a journalist who has written on the extensive changes in Macau since its handover to Mainland China in 1999

the socio-cultural dynamics related to development of the gaming industry and opportunities for small medium enterprise to participate in the emerging economy.


Ms. Johnson was the Editor in Chief of the first English-language newspaper in Macau, The Macau Post Daily and serves on the editorial boards of several magazines such as Macau Image Magazine and 3Cm Media in Hong Kong. A frequent commentator on business related issues Ms. Johnson has appeared on RTHK radio Hong Kong and TDM in Macau. Ms. Johnson has contributed to numerous publications including South China Morning Post, Macau Business, The Venetian Style, PrestigeHK and Macau Magazine.


Born in Little Rock, Arkansas, Ms. Johnson completed her undergraduate studies at Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia and MBA at The Edinburgh School of Business as well as linguistic studies at the National University of Singapore. A long term resident of Asia, Ms. Johnson has resided in Singapore, Hong Kong, Brunei and maintains home between two cities in China.
